| Our
History |
| |
| Pintaras
Jaya was incorporated as a limited company on 23 November 1989 by
its founder, Dr Chiu Hong Keong, a civil and geotechnical engineer
whose wide experience and expertise in the field of construction
quickly gain us our reputation of being a trusted and quality construction
company in Malaysia. The Company assumed its identity as a public-listed
company when it was listed on the Second Board of the Kuala Lumpur
Stock Exchange on 21 December 1994 and was subsequently transferred
to the Main Board on 18 May 1998.
The
driving force behind our success has been our belief in the necessity
of our personal involvement in every project we undertake. To this
end, the Pintaras group of companies has extended its capabilities
beyond the provision of services to include extensive plants and
machinery, which enables us to undertake most of our assignment
with minimal sub-contracting to third parties.
Today,
the Company has a paid-up share capital exceeding RM80 million and
a staff strength of over 200 employees. Our clients include major
players in Malaysia’s property development and corporate sectors.

has been and continues to be an emphasis on client satisfaction
through professionalism, quality and timely completion of projects
and on competitiveness through innovations and appropriate technology.
Meanwhile,
the Group continues to challenge itself constantly to strive for
an even better performance for its clients and ensures that the
Company’s shareholders are rewarded with attractive returns
for their confidence in and support for the Company and its subsidiaries
and at the same time contributing positively to the nation’s

| Our
Expertise |
| |
| The
Group’s construction capabilities cover five major areas,
which see the full involvement of our skilled staff in ensuring
our clients the most cost-effective and timely solutions to meet
their construction needs.
Our
primary strength is our ability to propose suitable and economical
designs, which minimizes construction time. Under our recommendation,
several projects, which we undertook were re-designed for better
economy in terms of material cost and construction time. These achievements
have been made possible through our ownership of a large fleet of
equipment, which allows for better quality and safety control by
the Group’s team of experienced personnel. In addition to
the economical appeal of our recommendations, we have also gained
recognition for our ability to provide design solutions that are
practical yet innovative in their use of materials.
