Our History
1989
Pintaras was founded by Dr Chiu Hong Keong, a civil and geotechnical engineer, and incorporated as a limited company on 23rd November 1989.
1994
Pintaras became a public-listed company on the Second Board of Bursa Malaysia (KLSE) in 1994.
1998
Pintaras Jaya Berhad was transferred to the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia (KLSE) in 1998.
2008
Pintaras was nominated as one of the top 200 companies for the Forbes Asia “Best under a Billion Company” award.
2013
Pintaras was once again named one of the top 200 companies for the Forbes Asia “Best under a Billion Company” award.
2014
2014 marks our 25th anniversary.
As of April 2014, Pintaras has a market capitalisation of approximately RM600 million and paid-up share capital exceeding RM160 million. We have evolved and come a long way to achieve this milestone, and will continue to grow the business and service the construction industry to our best efforts.
2018
Pintaras wholly acquired Pintary International Pte Ltd in Singapore and its piling subsidiaries, Pintary Foundations Pte Ltd and Pintary Geotechnics Pte Ltd.

With Dr Chiu’s wide experience and field expertise, Pintaras has gained solid reputation as a leading foundations and piling specialist in the Malaysian construction industry.
Pintaras undertakes a hands-on approach in every project to ensure high quality and efficiency in our work, with minimal sub-contracting to third parties. Our active involvement in operations has in turn rewarded us with invaluable experience and opportunities to hone our engineering skills and expertise.
Fleet and equipment
Over the years, we have acquired and maintained a large fleet of top-range equipment (drilling rigs, crawler cranes, and vibro-hammers, etc.) that enable us to carry out a diverse range of geotechnical work.
We also have an experiencedin-house maintenance and repairteamto ensurethemaximum performance and durability of our equipment over the years.
